IEW 2026 felt different from previous years. The conversations were more grounded, the questions more specific. It reflects an industry that has moved past the question of whether, and is now working through how.

What struck us most was how much alignment there was across very different organisations. The priorities have converged, even if the projects haven't.

CBG: Policy is Becoming Projects

India's momentum around compressed biogas was one of the clearest signals at the event. Developers, operators, and investors are advancing plans with a specificity that wasn't there a year ago . For CRA, that maps directly onto where we see sustained demand across gas processing, upgrading, combustion, and gas handling.

Higher Standards, Longer View

IEW reinforced a shift already visible in our project pipeline: more scrutiny on lifecycle performance, clear OPEX vs CAPEX debates. Engineering decisions are being held to a higher standard. That's the right direction.

We came away with stronger conversations and a clearer view of where the market is heading.
